Michael Ovitz, Hollywood agent and co-founder of the Creative Arts Agency, is no stranger to the art of the deal. He scored a 577 percent profit from the sale of his condominium at the 235-unit Metropolitan Tower in Midtown West.

He paid $598,000 for the three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom unit in 1996. Seventeen years later, Victoria Estate LLC took it off his hands for $4.05 million, slightly above the $3.99 million asking price.

The unfurnished 2,124-square-foot pad on the 66th floor of 146 West 57th Street offers views of Central Park, the Hudson River and more, through its 20 windows. Brown Harris Stevens broker Howard Morrel had the listing. [NYO] — Mark Maurer.
